FullSizeChevy.com is an owner-run community for people who actually work on full-size Chevy, GMC and Cadillac trucks and SUVs — Squarebody through T1XX, plus LS swaps and Duramax. Repair and diagnostic guides, a forum where builds stay searchable, and free tools that answer the questions which usually get five different replies.

The domain changed hands and the site is being rebuilt from the ground up — new forum, new technical content, and a growing set of free calculators and decoders. It is small right now and we are not going to pretend otherwise. The work is in making the information good enough that people come back, not in claiming a crowd that is not here yet.

Why It Is Being Rebuilt

The rebuild started with a simple problem: good information about these trucks is scattered across dead forums, Facebook groups nobody can search, and content-farm articles written by people who have never turned a wrench on one. The answers exist. They are just hard to find and harder to trust.

So the plan here is deliberately boring: write the technical content properly and cite where the numbers came from, build tools that show their own math, and run a forum where a thread you post today is still findable in five years. Everything on this site gets measured against that.

I’ve got five old Chevys in the driveway and grew up on the original FSC forum. I was wrenching on my first OBS at 15 after purchasing my late grandfather’s dark toreador metallic ’98 Z71. I remember being on FSC a ton as I built that truck out – 0411 swap, whipple charger, marine intake off a boat, headers, efans, built 4l60e, escalade cluster etc. That passion for customizing trucks and building things never left.

Like many of you, I drifted to Facebook for builds after FSC went under – only to watch good knowledge vanish. I missed the old school forum days where builds lasted, info was searchable, and the community felt solid. Facebook groups aren’t great – a guy gets sick of reading the same old questions over and over again.

Eventually I got into software and web development and began running multiple projects with my team. When the chance came to bring FullSizeChevy.com back online, it was clear the site deserved more than a reboot — it needed a revival. This isn’t a simple rebuild; it’s a full-scale rebirth of a community built on grit, knowledge, and loyalty to the bowtie. The goal is to relaunch the forum in 2026 and provide value for a future generation of Chevy truck lovers.

The five Chevys in the driveway are my collection — and any repair or modification that needs to happen on them will be documented and put out there as such. Real trucks, real problems, real repairs, filmed and written up as they actually happen. The goal is to produce content that is actually helpful — no fluff or filler. You can see some of my work on our YouTube channel. You’ll also find some other cool things there, like antique Massey Harris tractors, Cub Cadets, and a custom 10ft aluminum jet boat.
